I’ve decided to purchase a new domain and move Knowing Nothing here. The .co.uk site will remain up as long as I have hosting left on the domain, but no new entries will be posted there.
So please update your bookmarks, this is the new site!
I’m also currently going through old posts to correct any character encoding problems. There are all sorts of issues with changing from the latin-1 character set to the more flexible utf-8 character set, but it’s all for future proofing! Some of the Japanese characters weren’t displaying properly under the old latin-1 encoding.

Hey dude, why the move? It was getting rather cosy around here…
I started thinking about the longevity of a .co.uk domain really. Considering I am looking at moving abroad and am increasingly involved with Japan and other countries, I figured at some point I would not have an address in the U.K and therefore not be able to continue owning the .co.uk domain name. So I grabbed the .net one while it was still free.
